OUR STORY
About Electro Depot
Direct-trade beans and equipment we've tested ourselves, because the ritual deserves better than what's on the supermarket shelf.
From A Rented Kitchen To Your Counter
ELECTRO DEPOT started in a rented kitchen in 2023, after one too many bags of so-called single-origin coffee that tasted like nothing at all. We'd spent years buying grinders that ran hot, kettles with no temperature control, and beans that had already been sitting in a distribution warehouse since spring by the time they reached us. The coffee at home never matched what we drank on a trip to Colombia's Huila region, and we came back convinced the gap wasn't about taste buds — it was about freshness and equipment nobody had bothered to test.
So we started buying directly from three farms we'd actually visited, roasting in batches small enough to ship within a week of order, and testing every grinder, kettle and scale ourselves for a full year before putting our name on it. No private-label gear rebranded overnight, no beans that sat in a warehouse waiting for a seasonal sale, and no roast profile we hadn't cupped ourselves.
We still cup every new roast before it ships, and we still answer the emails ourselves when someone's espresso shot runs sour. That part hasn't scaled, and we're not in a hurry to change it.

HOW WE STARTED
Direct Farm Relationships
We buy from three named farms in Ethiopia, Colombia and Guatemala, cutting out the anonymous green-coffee brokers most roasters use.
Small-Batch Roasting
Every roast is profiled and cupped in-house, then shipped within a week — never left to go stale on a shelf.
Equipment We Actually Use
Every grinder and kettle we sell has run in our own kitchens for a full year before it goes on the site.
Real Brew Support
Email us your grind size and machine and a person who actually pulls shots will answer, usually the same day.
